At the end of the session on 11/8, the VN-Index fell 0.12 points (-0.01%) to 843.08 points. The HNX-Index increased by 2.66 points (2.34%) to 116.3 points. UPCoM-Index increased 0.22 points (0.39%) to 56.52 points.
The negative point of the market today is still the fact that foreign investors remained net sellers with nearly 129 billion dong (down 35.5% compared to the previous session), corresponding to the net selling volume of 8 million shares. Thus, foreign investors have been net sellers for 3 consecutive sessions with a total value of 407 billion dong.
On HoSE, foreign investors had the third net selling session in a row, with a value down 35% compared to the previous session and reached 121 billion dong, equivalent to a volume of 8 million shares.
VHM continued to be sold the most by foreign investors with a value of nearly 30 billion dong. After that, HPG and VRE were net sold 19 billion and 13.7 billion dong, respectively. On the other side, DHC was bought the most but with a modest value of 12.4 billion dong. MSN and DPM also saw a net buying of over 10 billion dong.
On the HNX, foreign investors net bought slightly again with 3.7 billion dong, equivalent to a net buying volume of 195,050 shares.
Foreign investors on HNX bought mainly in PVS with 5.7 billion dong. The remaining shares are worth less than 1 billion dong net buying. Meanwhile, BCC was also the only ticker on the HNX to be net sold by foreign investors of over 1 billion dong, although the level was not high with only 1.5 billion dong.
On UPCoM, foreign investors continued to net sell 10.9 billion dong (up 31%), equivalent to a volume of 219,373 shares. Similar to the previous session, there was no share on UPCoM that was net bought over 1 billion dong by foreign investors, while VEA was sold the most with 3.8 billion dong. ACV and VTP were net sold at 3.3 billion and 2.4 billion dong, respectively.
